Exclusive VETERAN'S DAY SPECIALTY CAMP

Join us for a special Veteran's Day Holiday Camp on November 10 & 11, 2025. In this two-day hands-on art camp, students will make beautiful, functional home décor pieces—like shimmering window sun catchers and personalized mini succulent pots—while learning real-world art and jewelry-making techniques they can use far beyond camp. Paired with a Spanish learning and practice this will be a one of a kind Art & Language experience.*

* All language and artistic skill levels welcome! This is a great experience for non-Spanish and advanced Spanish speakers alike! 

Through fun, guided projects, participants will learn:
🎨 Decoupage – transforming ordinary surfaces with layered paper designs
✨ Gold Leafing – adding metallic shine and texture like a professional artisan
🧵 Jewelry-Making Techniques – using pliers, wire, chain, beads, and jump rings to create the hanging sun catchers (and later, jewelry!)

Students will gain confidence with tools, materials, creative problem-solving, and new crafting skills that will open doors to endless future DIY opportunities .

By the end of camp, every student will take home:

• Minimum 2 finished décor pieces (sun catcher + plant pot)
• New art techniques and jewelry-making know-how
• A spark of inspiration for future creative adventures!

 
Optional “Take-Home Tools Kit” available for purchase so campers can continue their crafting journey at home with their own jewelry pliers, beading supplies, decoupage and gold leafing kits.
